MIMANSA CONSENT FOR CARE & GENOMIC WELLNESS COACHING

Empowering you with clarity, integrity, and aligned support — Effective May 2025

Thank you for choosing to begin your wellness journey with Dr. Mima Geere and the Mimansa team. This consent outlines how we work together — with full transparency, respect for your unique needs, and deep care for your health and sovereignty.

1. Understanding the Scope: Medical vs. Coaching Support

At Mimansa, we honor the distinction between licensed medical care and educational wellness coaching to ensure you’re fully informed:

Medical Services: Dr. Mima Geere is a licensed physician in California. If you reside in California and choose to become a formal patient, your care may include prescriptions, lab testing, and diagnostics within the scope of California medical regulations.

Wellness Coaching (Outside California): For clients outside California, we offer high-level educational health coaching and consulting. This does not include medical diagnosis, prescriptions, or treatment plans, but it can include personalized guidance and referrals to licensed providers in your location when needed.

We’re here to support you as a whole person — mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually — with integrity and clarity about the care we can provide.

2. Genomics & Data Transparency

As part of your personalized experience, we may use genomic insights to guide your wellness plan.

We currently partner with SelfDecode for testing, and we also accept raw data from other services if compatible. If compatibility isn’t possible, your payment will be refunded.

All genomic data is stored in HIPAA-compliant systems, and we are committed to your privacy, clarity, and data sovereignty.

You will always know where your data is stored, who has access, and how it’s used. Your information is never sold or shared beyond the scope of your coaching experience.

These insights are used only to empower your health and wellness journey — and you are in full control of your data at all times.

3. Online Programs & Group Education

Our digital wellness offerings — including group sessions and self-guided programs — are grounded in education, inspiration, and community.

These offerings do not include direct medical care, and are not a substitute for medical treatment.

You’re encouraged to work with a local licensed provider for medical services, labs, and prescriptions.

Our role is to support, uplift, and educate you through evidence-informed insights and holistic frameworks.

4. Fertility Coaching & Preconception Support

This program is lovingly designed for women in the preconception phase of their journey.

It is not intended for use during pregnancy, and to ensure safety and alignment, participants will be asked to complete regular urine HCG tests to confirm non-pregnancy.

Should you become pregnant during the program, we’ll support you with grace and refer you into a more appropriate program to honor this next chapter.

While we do not assume liability for pregnancy outcomes, we are here to hold space for you with care and professionalism.

By moving forward, you confirm that you understand the nature of this partnership — grounded in wellness, not medical treatment (unless you are a California-based patient). You accept these terms with clarity and joy, and we are honored to walk alongside you.
